2006 Norway Reviews:

“The open air theatre Havlyst is a midsummer night's dream in itself...This version was bubbling with comedy...clear and easy to understand, presented in beautiful, well articulated English.”
DAGBLADET

It is very amusing...a summer night by the fjord is beautiful. The company is impressively cast with original characters...Even from the top of the amphitheatre we have close contact with the hunt for love and the game of life.”

Ramme Gaard

The theatre stage is an impressive two floor high "espalier" and the stage backdrop and surroundings come alive with beautiful plants in the summer. In the garden there are several fountains, ponds and unique works of art, including a statue of Shakespeare by Per Ung and the Venus and the Lovers by Peter Linde.

The summer setting is a wonderful, environmentally-friendly meeting place with a café and shop selling vegetables, meat, eggs, milk and honey from the farm, other ecological products, books and a small gallery. This is one of the world's most beautiful settings to enjoy the works of the world's greatest playwright.
